Heath Stores has been trading for over 50 years. Forming part of Manchester House built in the late 17th century its stands overlooking the Heath in the Wealden village of Horsmonden.
Monday 5th September 2011 saw a new chapter in Heath Stores history when Andrew and Kate Mills took over the shop.
Andrew was brought up in the village and married Kate at St Margarets, Horsmonden in 1995. After living elsewhere in Kent for the last 20 years, we are very happy to be "home"
In the last year, Heath stores has won a number of awards, which recognise the community spirit of the shop. These include, Kent Community Retailer of the year 2014, Convenience Store (magazine) retail awards-Commununity Retailer of the year (national) and being named one of the 20 finalists in the UK's Best Small Shops awards. One of the shop's proudest achievements is winning a 'rural oscar', naming the shop as the best village shop in Britain.
More recently Heath Stores has been nominated for a 'love where you live' award in the ethical business category.
